Tomorrow a Slight has been Issued for Eastern Central Europe and a Marginal for some Central parts, North East Spain, and South Russia.
We have issued a slight for SBCAPE values ranging from 2,000-3,000 j/kg and the MLCAPE ranging from 1,000-2,000 j/kg. As the last of the cold front that has pushed across Europe causing severe weather comes to a end, it pushes into high temperatures that will cause Convection along it and these storms have a good chance of going severe with a chance of Moderate sized hail as updraft potential looks strong within the slight area with a chance of some Hail accumulations. A tornado threat has been issued for North East Romania with a low chance of a isolated tornado forming as there are some low SRH 0-3km values at 150m2s2 and 0-1km shear values at 30kts. A funnel wouldn’t be ruled out either.
Marginals have been issued for Upper Troughs forming over North Italy, and one ahead of another cold front pushing into South Russia. CAPE values are moderate at 1,000-2,000 j/kg but with these upper trough convection should form along them, and these storms have the potential for moderate to high lightning totals with the chance of some high precipitation and hail happening.
Could be a very active day for many!
